Texting The Tooth Fairy

Victoria lost her top left front tooth during swimming lessons on Tuesday afternoon. Her smile has definitely looked better. Unfortunately she was swimming across the pool doing ice cream scoops (freestyle/crawl) and didn't notice it was gone right away. Despite her (and two instructors) best search efforts, the tooth was lost (doesn't help that the pool tile is distinctly tooth colored). She was absolutely DISTRAUGHT thinking that without a tooth to put in her tooth box that the tooth fairy would think she was lying about it. I must say that I do appreciate that she recognizes the importance of evidence to prove the facts at hand..... but I told her that the tooth fairy knows these things and she shouldn't worry. In the end she asked me if we could text the tooth fairy a picture of her without the top tooth as proof, which was a fantastic idea. The tooth fairy texted back and said she had the tooth already (as she patrols pool drains as part of her daytime routine) and that she already had Victoria programmed into her GPS to be on her drop off route for that night. Whew!
